Honda R&D isseeking a dynamic associate to work in our Electrical Control SystemsDevelopment department.
Areas of focus forthis role: Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), related to brakingcontrol systems.
The primary responsibilities involve developingthe functional requirements related to CAN interface, Self-Diagnostic, FailsafeDetection for each vehicle development, working with the system supplier tolead the integration of these functions into the vehicle, as well asverification of the functions.
Responsibilities will be focused around thedevelopment of the Advanced DriverAssist Systems (ADAS) in the following areas:
BrakingControl Systems, including Anti-lock brakes (ABS), Electronic Stability Control(ESC), Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), Electronic Brake Booster, & Brake byWire.
Roles include project management activities,overseeing the testing of the related vehicle systems, negotiating the hardwareand software interfaces to integrate the system into the vehicle, instrumentingand troubleshooting vehicles for testing, analyzing test data, and recommendingsolutions for test failures.
BS in Electrical Engineering, ComputerEngineering, OR Controls Engineering.
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience or equivalentcombination of education and experience required.
Must have understanding of braking control systems
Must have understanding of requirementsmanagement, function validation, Diagnostics, and CAN structures.
Hands on mechanical ability / Understanding ofVehicle systems
Analytical skills to prepare prototype vehiclesfor testing
Troubleshoot system issues, and propose andsolve solutions to those issues.
Some travel domestic and internationally shouldbe expected to visit various proving grounds, visit suppliers' engineeringoffices and production locations and support Honda factories duringpre-production launch timings.
Valid driver's license required to operatevehicles on proving grounds.
PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and othertechnical software)
Excellent communication skills coupled with thewillingness to pro-actively seek out information from others and convert conceptsinto specific requirements.
Experience with data acquisition systems andVector CAN tools is a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
