Infotainment Software Development Engineer

Thisposition will focus on the development of infotainment software with a focus onhead unit software.
Responsibilitieswill include the following:
Ability to collect and understand functional (hardware, software &communication) requirements for infotainment system components.
Develop, write and issue specifications and requirements for the systemcomponents.
Develop simulation models to allow a virtualized testing environment model.
Support maturation and testing to cover different configuration of software toensure all variations work correctly.
Minimum of a basic understanding in Android OS environment.
Support development and coordination of software functions to meet marketrequirements/demands of the IVI system.
Develop software for infotainment system components.
Coordinate change points with suppliers to achieve the development requirementson schedule.
Support vehicle testing (software and functional) to guarantee productacceptance for mass production
Analyzes/interprets test results, predicting performance/failure and providingrequired product/design data, communicating test results clearly in writtenreports/formal presentations and making general recommendations based onanalysis of testing results.
Write all necessary reports, presentations or technical documents to explainand/or make a record of the development activities
Candidate should have working knowledge inrequirements management and change manage using DOORs or similar requirementmanagement tool.
Capability to troubleshoot technical issues, including complextiming interactions between units for communication as well as power managementsequence diagrams and logic.
Working level knowledge of Automotive communication protocolspreferred. Example include: CAN, MOST, LIN, USB, HDMI and RS485
BS Degree in computer science. 1-3 years of relatedexperience in software development may be substituted for required degree.Candidate should have experience in software and automotive infotainment (IVI)system development.
Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical software).Knowledge of MatLab or Labview would be a plus.
Familiarity with Atlassian Tools (Confluence, Jira, Bamboo and Stash)preferred.
As there will be interaction with international staff, the candidate shouldhave a diverse cultural understanding and exposure, with the ability to altercommunication methods to effectively transmit technical concepts to necessaryaudiences.
Ability to travel and work overtime may be required

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
