Reliability Engineer

Candidates will be required to buildcomplex finite element models for CAE analysis of vehicle body and chassisstrength and durability requirements. This will include conducting advanced computer simulations of physicaltests using Finite Element Analysis (primarily ABAQUS and/or NASTRAN). In addition, the candidate will evaluate the results of the analysis and physical testresults, and present concise conclusions and recommendations for designimprovements based on analysis results. Attention to detail and good problemsolving skills are critical for identifying and fixing material deformation, fracturing and fatigue related problems.
BSME or related degree and a minimumof 1 year closely related experience or equivalent combination of education andexperience required. Qualified candidatemust have experience/knowledge with multi-body dynamics, finite elementanalysis, CAE or other method of making a prediction. Experience with 3Dmodeling software (CATIA V5, Ncode) and knowledge of fatigue and problemsolving skills required. Proficient skills using Hypermesh, ANSA, Nastran, andABAQUS or equivalent software is preferred. PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPointand other technical software) and excellent communication/interpersonal skillsrequired. Ability to travel and work overtime may be required.
