Lumenance is searching for motivated Automotive Network Gateway Engineers with prior vehicle product development experience in the automotive industry. We currently have US-based contract positions available for candidates who have a full understanding of automotive-based network gateway systems. Areas of competency involve automotive network systems such as CAN and MOST, technical testing and documentation, project management with the ability to meet milestones and working with other design areas to collect requirements. The candidate must be capable of contributing to a fast paced, project development environment in the automotive design and manufacturing industry.
These positions are in Central Ohio, USA. Lumenance will help procure the necessary U.S. work visas for qualified candidates from Mexico and Canada.
DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS
1. TECHNICAL
Develop a MOST / CAN gateway for an automotive application.
Develop test cases for the gateway to ensure design accuracy.
Develop test cases for the gateway to verify security of system.
Coordinate CAN specifications by working with other design groups.
Document translation mechanisms and Gateway files.
Assist in system integration of Gateway into existing infrastructure.
Develop and document procedures for testing and flashing software.
Communicate and perform presentation of concepts to customer as needed or required.
Prior experience with documentation and specific definition of system specifications
Able to review and understand device and component technical datasheets.
Able to work well with other functional areas in a fast paced environment.
Able to define and manage a project schedule and meet deliverables targets.
2. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering focused on Computer Science, Electrical, or related Engineering field of study.
The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience with vehicle network systems.
The candidate must have knowledge and experience with J1939 CAN systems, experience with MOST is a plus.
The candidate must have prior experience with testing and implementation.
The candidate should be able to set project milestones and negotiate stage gate dates to ensure project schedule.
Knowledge of Cetitec Composer is a plus.
Experience with NUnit, JUnit, MX-Suite, and LabView is a plus.
Prior experience with C, python and Java is a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
