We're looking for someone who's creative and has hands-on technical skills to contribute to end-to-end product results.
Responsibilities:
Actively work on the initial part concept review and approval.
Physical part measurement to ensure conformance to specifications.
Installation of prototype accessory parts on development vehicles to validate fit, finish and function.
Will work extensively on quality inspection tools such as but not limited to micrometers, dial gauges, fixturing equipment.
Work with part fixturing creation and measurements.
Conduct quality-based audits at assigned Suppliers to ensure developmental and mass production quality.
Required Skillset:
Minimum 2 years of engineering experience with Quality oriented verification of prototype development components.
Extensive experience using quality Inspection tools ( Ex.
micrometers, dial gauges, fixturing equipment) is required.
Previous experience with part fixturing creation, methodology and measurement experience.
Previous experience reviewing and assisting with final approval on conceptual designs on parts.
Demonstrated ability to read and understand Drawings and Specifications to identify key quality characteristics of part design.
Previous experience of installation of prototypes of parts.
BS Degree in ME/EE.
Strong goal-oriented communications across our Supply base to ensure a quality result.
