Apply via Dice today!Business Analyst IT (Data Analytics) Location - Raymond, OH (Hybrid - onsite 2 days/week along with remote work 3 days/week) Contract Duration - October 2023 - March 31, 2025 Travel - Travel:
5% - Annually only if needed.
Currently no plan of travel but may be needed to visit another office for one-time session during life of project.
The Business Analyst's role is to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of stakeholders, be they customers or end users.
This includes interviewing stakeholders and gather and compiling user requirements to understand the technology solutions they need.
The Business Analyst will also apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help the business make good technology decisions.
The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring IT's understanding of business requirements.
Responsibilities will include the following:
Collaborate with project/ team managers and business sponsors to determine scope, vision, business objectives, and benefits.
Conduct interviews to gather user requirements, use cases, and scenarios.
Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, and comprehensibility.
Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements.
Where applicable, develop prototypes of interfaces and attributes based on the user requirements.
Develop and conduct peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted.
Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
Create systems specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers.
Where applicable, perform analysis of existing applications and access impact of the change to the current system processes.
Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.
Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
Assign project schedule, budget, and quality performance.
Focus on achievement of Customer Satisfaction for Team services provided.
Effectively manage daily operational tasks and rotate PDCA (Plan Do Check Act) for continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Expertise:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related fi eld or equivalent work experience.
4-6 years of relevant Business Analysis work experience Skilled in leading meetings and gathering user requirements Basic ability to gather/refine complex business requirements, recommend or make decisions on business requirements/interdependencies Skilled in creating Business Requirements Documents, Functional Requirement Documents, User Cases and User Scenarios Basic ability to create impact analysis to make recommendations Ability to develop complex business cases Skilled development prototypes of interfaces and attributes based on user requirements Well versed in working with MS Visio and MS PowerPoint Expertise in creating system specs, diagrams, and charts Experience creating process models Skilled in conducting UAT Basic ability to:
Present and defend complex positions and strategies for business decisions processes and plans Assess corporate impacts of changes and recommend strategies to senior management Business Analyst - Data Recommended Skills Dashboard Data Management Data Quality Extract Transform Load (Etl) Data Modeling Data Analysis Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
