Interface with internal and external stakeholders directing contract negotiation strategic positions. Assess cost and contract details identifying potential intellectual property, product liability and operational contract terms that minimize risk and insure the best outcomes for Honda. Direct contract negotiations ensuring critical development timelines are met. Judge contract negotiation progress assessing impasse issues and identifying executive, legal, management and engineer stakeholders that are required for final agreement in the best interest of Honda. Direct cost assessment and approval process developing protocols and training associates in the process and developing cost negation and reduction strategies that ensure best outcomes. Collaborate with management to resolve negotiation impasses issues and promote final agreements consistent with Honda core values. Provide daily group associate operation direction. Follow HDMA and Honda philosophic protocols coaching, counseling, and leading staff. Direct daily resource application prioritization to ensuring completion of critical outputs. Ensure staff compliance with required training, safety protocols, HDMA associate policies, ensuring proper recording of working hours including out of office and overtime reporting. Set associate performance standards consistent with company philosophy and business plans providing clear operational objectives, monitoring key performance indicators and proposing operational changes to promote improved outcomes. Provide written, verbal and presentation document to report group, unit, department, and overall organizational performance measuring the effectiveness of strategic directives and the current state of key performance indicators. Identify issues of significance and escalating time sensitive issues to management. Create and proposed operational process improvement strategies for continuous improvement. $80K -- $100K
