Responsible for technology planning functions that will address development, supply chain, and manufacturing business challenges and needs. Partnering with information technology and DMS teams to understand struggles, needs, priorities, and issues, propose new ideas and innovations utilizing all aspects of information technology to create positive business impact ahead of the need Develops conceptual and working prototype solutions, leads proofs of concept, and works with architecture and product teams to deliver solutions. Responsible for partnering with various information technology teams including architecture, device, network, security, applications, etc., to develop concepts, strategies (including roadmaps, reference architectures, standards, etc), and to design and implement systems that maximize the value of our IT to DMS business. Assists with software and hardware selection process including buy/build analysis, vendor evaluations and integration strategies. Responsible for working with outside technology and automotive services suppliers to remain current on trends and current capabilities Develop technical documentation and reports based on research activity and POT / POC results Collaborate with DMS business groups and technical communities Qualifications We are looking for qualified people and diverse background and experiences, open minds, and a disciplined work ethic, to bring the future to Honda as an Innovation Engineer, you must have:
BA/BS in information technology, computer science, related field, or equivalent work experience 3-5 years information technology experience Experience demonstrating overall knowledge of information technology and automation Hands on technical implementation experience Collaboration skills with various IT technology pillars and business users Strong design and presentation skills Strong communication/people skills
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
System & Network Administration, Systems Architecture & EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
